Description

A step stool, a toddler's seat, a monitor stand, or even a DIY version of a Squatty Potty, this simple design can be adapted to a range of uses. New skills + new stool = win!



Skill level: This class is built for beginners; open to ages 16+ (minors will need a signed youth waiver.)

*sanding & finishing

Class fees & donations: 
All class fees include materials. Want to throw a little extra in to support our program? There’s a donation option at registration to add any amount that you want to pay forward. A donation receipt will be included with your registration confirmation email.

What is your refund policy? We currently do not offer refunds or transfers between classes. You may, however, transfer your ticket to anyone 18 or older. If you need help finding someone to take your spot, consider posting on the relevant class event on our FB page. At your request, we’d also be glad to share your email address with the class waitlist.

How do I transfer my ticket to someone else? You can either log in to your EventBrite account and edit the attendee info on your registration, or email us at education@rebuildingcenter.org with 1) the date and name of the class, and 2) first name, last name, and email address of the person you’d like to transfer your ticket to.
 
When and where to arrive? 
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before class to settle in and be ready to go! Come in through our administrative entrance (red door across from StormBreaker Brewing and just north of our donation drop-off area.) Signs inside the entrance will guide you to the Workshop.
 
What to bring/not to bring? 
For your personal safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and avoid any dangling jewelry or baggy clothing. You may also want to bring a water bottle and a snack
.
 
How about public transportation/parking options? 
The #4 bus stops within a block of the ReBuilding Center. The Yellow Max Line (Overlook Park  stop) is about a 15 minute walk away.
 There’s also parking available on the surrounding streets.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket? 
No - we'd prefer to save a few trees! We can look up registration details electronically if need be.
 
Is there an age limit? 
All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise indicated in the class description.
