Intro to Homeowner tools: What’s in your toolbox? - $12

06/24/2020 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM PT

Description

Ever found hammering a nail to be frustrating? Wonder what the wiggling piece of metal on the end of your tape measure is for? Curious how to use a handsaw, AND how to use it effectively?

Join us virtually for a live, video presentation as we take a look at the most likely tools you might find in your tool box. Stemming from one of our most fundamental in-person classes (“Intro to Carpentry Tools”) we’ll cover:

  • how to use a tape measurer (and other measuring tools) for all they’re worth
  • how to hammer—getting it right (a common frustration)
  • how to use a handsaw effectively (and different kinds of handsaws)
  • how to use a square
  • which nails to use for what, and when to use screws
  • and plenty more!

Whether you're a homeowner, renter, or you've just wondered what all those tools in your toolbox are capable of, join us! Presentation begins promptly at 6:00, followed by Q&A.

Registration will close at 5:00pm the day before the seminar.
Cost: $12
